Want to Sing?

There are a number of ways to participate– the easiest is to find a local chorus, called a “chapter” of the Barbershop Harmony Society. A chorus can also help you join or form a quartet. If there isn’t a chapter in your area, you can start a club with some like-minded folks, or even form a full-fledged chapter. We can help with all of these!

Find a Chapter

The fundamental structure of the Barbershop Harmony Society is a “chapter”. Inside a chapter can be a number of choruses: Men’s, Women’s, Mixed, Youth, etc. To find a chapter near you, use our Chapter Finder

Do Your Own Thing

No chapter in your area? No problem! You can form your own quartet with three other like-minded people. Have a few more friends who like to sing? Start a club that’s affiliated with the BHS (which you could eventually turn into a full-fledged chapter). If you need help with either of these options, please reach out to our membership team: membership@rmdsing.org

Not sure?

We get it, sometimes you just need to explore options. Please feel free to reach out to our membership team or anyone on our Leadership Team.
