Quartet Champions
The Rocky Mountain District of the Barbershop Harmony Society (then SPEBSQSA) was formed in 1977. The District has crowned a quartet champion each year (except 2020 and 2021), and has had three quartets medal in the International Contest– including two quartet champions!

Classic Collection
1982
George Davidson, Br; Terry Heltne, Bs
Larry Wilson, Ld; Curt Hutchison, Tn
Classic Collection won the Central States District in 1975, and then after the formation of the Rocky Mountain District, won that District’s inaugural competition in 1977. They are the only quartet to have won two different Districts!
They placed 32nd at their first International Contest in 1976, and kept at it until winning in 1982.
International Placements:

They then toured until 2002, with the same personnel!

2010

Storm Front won the Rocky Mountain District in 2002, also competing at International for the first time that year. They competed their first 5 years with tenor David Ellis before moving to the formation that would eventually win the International Contest.

Storm Front is beloved as one of the best comedy quartets of all time. They have released four albums and a DVD with their contest sets from their last three International Contests.
As of 2022, Storm Front is still performing with the same personnel!
