Grants
Rocky Mountain District reserves a portion of its budget, funded through members’ “donor’s choice” allocations to RMD, for awarding grants to choruses for the following:
- Youth Education: grants must be used to help offset the costs of events primarily focused on educating and involving youth with barbershop. Amounts awarded are unique to each event. Grant requests should be submitted to the District VP of Youth in Harmony at YIH@rmdsing.org.
- Chorus Education: grants must be used to help offset the costs of chorus education (i.e., coaches or similar training). There is a limit of $500 per chorus per year. While the intent is that this be a 1:1 match with chorus funds, exceptions may be considered. Grant requests should be submitted to the District VP of Chapter Development at ChapterSupport@rmdsing.org.
