Rocky Mountain District Fall Convention 2021

Rocky Mountain District Fall Convention 2021 Postponed

The Rocky Mountain District events team has been working hard to create an exciting “Barbershop is Back” Rocky Mountain District Fall Convention. We are all so excited to get together and sing and gather with our barbershop friends and family. Unfortunately, COVID had other plans.

First and foremost, we are concerned about the health, safety and wellbeing of our members and guests. Our team has been monitoring developments and trends with the current COVID issues in and around our entire district. Current upticks in infection rates and the risk of community transmission at an event such as ours led your Rocky Mountain District Board of Directors to make the difficult decision to postpone our 2021 convention planned for Denver, CO September 23-25, 2021. It was an intense and painful discussion and no one wanted to postpone. It was a very difficult decision and in the end, we determined it was the best for our members and the Rocky Mountain District.

Although we postponed this convention, we are already moving forward with ideas to explore opportunities for the spring. We are looking at all possibilities, including an expansion of Rocky Mountain Harmony College and a possible return to a spring convention that would incorporate all the plans we had for this fall event.

Stay well, stay positive, and we look forward to the time when we can gather and sing and be together.

In Harmony,

Rocky Mountain District Board of Directors

Brett Foster, President
