The RMD Harmony Platoon is a full weekend of wall-to-wall, chord cracking, barbershop quartet singing. If you are a fast learning, experienced quartet man, and you yearn for good, challenging quartetting with a network of solid, like-minded, and accomplished quartet men, the RMD Harmony Platoon may be for you. The formal parts of the Platoon are held on Friday afternoon and evening with non-stop quartetting and quartet partner switching on four great international competition caliber songs. Participants sing in lots of quartet combinations. This is an invitational event. You must register to be invited.
All participants will receive instructions to download password protected music and high quality part-dominant learning tracks for the songs to be used in the rally. Men count on each other to be 100% prepared, with all the notes, words, and interpretations fully memorized. The cost for the Platoon is only $20… Of course, it’s an expectation that all participants will register for the entire Rocky Mountain Harmony College
Three (3) “Luck Of The Draw” Quartet Contests: There are three rounds of good-natured quartet competitions – with randomly selected quartet members and randomly selected songs from those provided. Judges are well known BHS coaches, singers, or quartets.
